Good day, WNYDEC members!

Here are some follow-up resources from the May 2025 WNYDEC Full-Member 
Meeting.

* Don’t forget to [register for our July 28 
convening](https://wnydigitalequity.link/convening-registration) at the 
Erie 1 BOCES Education Campus in West Seneca.
* Attached is a PDF document guide to creating a petition using 
ResistBot. I welcome any feedback or corrections so we can make sure 
it’s as useful as possible! (The NYS Digital Equity Network [petition 
to protect the Digital Equity Act](https://resist.bot/petitions/PUFUOW) 
is up to 132 signers! Don’t forget to sign if you haven’t already!)

I also have an update on the Digital Equity Technical Assistance Grant: 
We are a green light to proceed with all projects! Christine 
Carr-Barmasse, Steve Heist, and I had a call with the ConnectALL Office 
this past Friday and we got all of my questions and concerns about 
complying with Minority- and Woman-Owned Business Enterprise contracting 
requirements resolved.

We’ll begin scheduling RBA trainings and other activities immediately! 
Our June meeting should be pretty full!
