Happy Digital Inclusion Week, WNYDEC folks!

Sorry to get these all out so late. I’ve been working on these over 
the past several weeks, but some life events arose over the past two 
weeks that prevented me from putting more attention into them.

Even if they’re getting to you a bit late, you can still use these 
materials to promote Digital Inclusion Week and to help educate the 
community about digital inclusion gaps and assets.

First, huge thanks to Mission: Ignite for working with Representative 
Tim Kennedy’s office to put together a Digital Inclusion Week video.

I’m also attaching county and Congressional district fact sheets with 
a few highlights from the American Community Survey. The data for 
Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Erie, and Niagara counties are all 2023 data 
(2024 release).

I was not able to get the data (five-year estimates, which are necessary 
because annual estimates are only available for places with 60,000 or 
more residents) for Allegany, Genesee, Orleans, and Wyoming counties 
because I didn’t get there before the government shutdown.

Once the government reopens, you’ll be able to reference the source 
data here if you want to examine them in greater detail:

In both cases, Click on the “Geos” button at the top of the table 
and you’ll be able to drill down to your geography of interest.

Finally, I’m attaching a handful of general use images that you can 
share on your social media or include in newsletters/emails. They 
aren’t specific to Digital Inclusion Week, so they can be used for 
other things as well. The QR codes point to the WNYDEC website. If I’m 
able to build one or two more, I’ll send them out as well under 
separate cover.
